But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.” Then some of the scribes answered and said, “Teacher, You have spoken well.” (Luke 20:37-39 NKJV)
A wonderful reminder:
God is still the God of the living, and everyone who has ever served Him knows this truth. This is not a new revelation. This is not a New Testament revelation. It is a unilateral truth which always has been, and always will be. If it was true for Moses, if it was true for Luke, and if it is true for Jesus, then it is true for me!
